Powder Coating Service

Youngstown Racing is proud to offer a top notch Powder Coating Service. Powder Coating will provide a long lasting, colorful and very durable finish to your products.

Powder Coat is beneficial for parts exposed to harsh conditions such as moisture and chemicals. Powder coating does not fade and is very chip and crack resistant, flexible, and can be applied to all metals.

Do you also prep the parts?
Yes, we do offer a media blasting service to prep your parts. Media blasting service is $25 per hour.

How long does this process take?
We usually have a 1-2 week turn around time. We can make special arrangements at additional cost if speedy turn around is required.

What types of things can I have powder coated?
Anything thing that is metal, that can withstand 400 degrees while being baked in an oven (most items), can be coated.

What if i'm not local, can you still powder coat my parts?
Absolutly, we ship twice a week. We will process your parts just as we do anyone else's parts. When they are done, they will get shipped back to you with tracking information. The only difference is that you will have a shipping fee. We accept paypal.

1. We expect all parts to be clean when dropped off. No grease, mud, etc.

2. Please remove all bearings, fittings, etc. These things generally can't handle the temps that your parts must see in order to be powder coated. If we have to remove them for you, you will be charged our standard $55.00 per hour shop labor rate.

3. If you want to keep your threads clean, stick some bolts in the holes. We will do our best to cover areas of your parts that need specific clearances and tolerances and we have plugs and caps for certain holes and studs, but correct bolts always work best.
